Three-time NASCAR champion joins Joe Gibbs Racing in Xfinity at New Hampshire

A three-time NASCAR champion will join Joe Gibbs Racing for the Xfinity race at New Hampshire. Find out who will drive the No. 19 car!

A three-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion is joining [autotag]Joe Gibbs Racing[/autotag]. On Thursday afternoon, Joe Gibbs Racing announced that [autotag]Justin Bonsignore[/autotag] will drive the No. 19 car in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on June 22. Bonsignore has won three championships in 2018, 2020, and 2021.

The 36-year-old driver recently won at New Hampshire during the 2023 season and has 41 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour wins since 2007. Bonsignore made an ARCA Menards Series start for Rette Jones Racing at Daytona International Speedway in February, his only start above the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.

This will be Bonsignore’s debut in the Xfinity Series, and it’s coming in elite equipment. Joe Gibbs Racing has been very fast at New Hampshire in the past, and this year shouldn’t be any different. There shouldn’t be expectations for Bonsignore to win the event; however, a top-5 finish shouldn’t be out of the equation for the 36-year-old driver.
