Mack Brown and the UNC football program will soon know their fate for a three-star wide receiver in the 2023 recruiting class.
Charlotte native Kevin Concepcion is close to a decision as he revealed he will make his announcement on Saturday afternoon. Concepcion will announce his decision either before or during halftime of the Chambers vs. Cardinal Gibbons game. It will be the first game of Concepcion’s senior year, and he wants it to be a memorable one.
The 5-foot-11, 173-pound Concepcion has a total of 20 offers but has narrowed his list down to two and it’s a battle between UNC and NC State.
Right now, going into this decision the Wolfpack have the momentum as they hold the crystal ball predictor on 247Sports. He also has ties to the Wolfpack, potentially making them the frontrunner in this race.
Concepcion is ranked No. 106 wide receiver and the No. 21 player in thes state of North Carolina per the 247Sports rankings.
