Two weeks after beating UCF, the Colorado Buffaloes are hosting one of the Knights’ top class of 2025 commits for this weekend’s game against Kansas State.
Christian Hudson, a three-star (247Sports composite) defensive lineman, is already in town ahead of the Buffs’ Saturday night matchup with the Wildcats. The 6-foot-1, 280-pound recruit posted a picture on X Friday afternoon of his view of Boulder’s iconic Flatirons.
According to the 247Sports composite, Hudson is ranked as the No. 48 DL in his class and the No. 63 class of 2025 prospect from Florida. He committed to UCF on July 6 before picking up an offer from Colorado early last month.
As a junior last season, the Mainland High School (Daytona Beach, Fla.) standout recorded 69 total tackles, 27 TFLs and nine sacks.

Initially was viewed by some colleges as an offensive lineman at the next level, but made it clear he wants to chase quarterbacks after racking up nine sacks as an 11th-grader. Impressive snap anticipation jolts him forward while active hands allow him to disengage and swipe past would-be blockers.
