Three-star tackle Jermiel Atkins commits to Kentucky football

Kentucky football adds another offensive lineman with commitment from Jermiel Atkins.

Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops and his coaching staff have worked hard at building up the offensive line in the 2025 recruiting class, adding Darrin Strey, Bryan Auguste, and Tucker Kattus so far. On Thursday, they got another one with the commitment of tackle Jermiel Atkins.

Atkins is another recruiting win in the state of Ohio for the Wildcats. He is a 6’8″, 290 lbs tackle, rated three stars by 247sports, and ranked as the 797th prospect in the 2025 class. He’s their number 47 offensive tackle.

Atkins visited Kentucky on June 21st, after taking visits with Arizona State and Virginia Tech. He also had offers from West Virginia and Minnesota among others.

The Wildcats have set about building the team through the trenches with this recruiting class. They’ve landed several solid players on both sides of the line, and have put together a top 20 class overall. Big Blue Nation has a lot to be happy about, and Stoops and company might not be finished yet.
