Amid Colorado football’s undefeated start to Big 12 play, head coach Deion Sanders and his staff are working to flip top recruiting targets.
Three-star defensive back Antonio Branch recently flipped from Penn State to Colorado, and fellow class of 2025 DB Zadian Gentry is another flip target to watch. A three-star prospect who committed to the SMU Mustangs in May, Gentry announced an offer from the Buffs on Monday. He’s now working to set up an official visit with the Buffs, per On3’s Steve Wiltfong.
Gentry, out of Anna, Texas, is midway through his senior season and currently owns 19 total tackles, an interception and five pass breakups. His Anna High School team is 1-3 but has yet to lose by more than four points.
Gentry visited Baylor last month during the Bears’ game against Air Force and has also received considerable interest from the Wisconsin Badgers.
The 247Sports composite ranks Gentry as the No. 49 cornerback in his recruiting class.
SMU CB commit Zadian Gentry was offered by Colorado on Monday and is already working to set up an OV, he tells @SWiltfong_🦬
