Three-star safety cancels Washington official visit

Three-star safety Elijah Pratt announced he will no longer be visiting Washington.

Washington Huskies safeties coach Vinnie Sunseri has done an impressive job building relationships with players from all over the country, earning official visits from six prospects at the position this summer. However, one of those prospects, three-star safety Elijah Pratt, announced on Saturday that he won’t be taking his trip to Seattle which was set to begin on Friday, May 31.

The 5-foot-11, 165-pound product of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, is committed to SMU and ranked as the nation’s No. 46 safety by 247Sports. He holds 13 offers and with the cancellation, appears to have reaffirmed his commitment to the Mustangs.

Pratt was set to be the third member of the prolific IMG program to visit Washington, following four-star wide receiver Donovan Olugbode, and three-star wide receiver Raiden Vines-Bright, who committed to the Huskies in April.

After hosting four-star Ladarian Clardy for an official visit during the spring game, Sunseri still has a large number of talented prospects set to take a trip to Seattle over the next month:
