Three Vols to compete in the 2023 NCAA singles and doubles championships.

Three Tennessee men’s tennis players received bids to compete in the 2023 NCAA singles and doubles championships.

Vols’ junior Johannus Monday and graduate student Emile Hudd will compete in the singles championships. Monday and graduate student Pat Harper will compete in doubles competition.

The NCAA singles and doubles championships will be contested May 22-27 at USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. Competition will follow NCAA team championships May 18-20.

The field consists of 64 singles players and 32 doubles teams, hosted by the University of Central Florida and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission.

Monday, the SEC Player of the Year, was one of 12 automatic qualifiers after compiling a 17-3 record in dual matches this season.

Hudd earned an at-large bid. He was 17-8 and won 11 matches in SEC dual play en route to earning all-conference honors.

Harper and Monday are 15-3 this season in doubles competition.
