Three Vikings who are dark horse starter candidates

Here are three players on the Vikings who could surprise some people and crack the starting lineup in 2020.

The Vikings terminated Josh Kline’s contract earlier this offseason and a lot of people started talking about Dru Samia as his potential replacement.

There’s another player, however, who actually earned more playing time than Samia in 2019 at guard: Dakota Dozier.

Dozier brings experience to the table in an unconventional offseason where it’s harder to learn in person with players and coaches.

I would guess that Samia takes the spot. The Vikings spent a fourth-round pick on him and his ceiling seems higher than Dozier’s. I wouldn’t be surprised at all, however, if Dozier is able to earn the spot.
