ORLANDO — The NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs are set and the three remaining former University of Tennessee basketball players will all be featured in an opening-round series.

The postseason begins Monday night and longtime rivals, the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers, will tangle to tip things off.

Boston (48-24) is the No. 3 seed while the Sixers (43-30) finished sixth in the conference.

Tip-off for Game 1 is slated for 6:30 p.m. ET in the Central Florida bubble at HP Field House.

Rookie Grant Williams, a first-round pick in last summer’s NBA draft looks to make his postseason debut in the series. He’s had an up-and-down rookie season and is averaging 3.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game this season.

The 76ers, meanwhile, have two former Volunteers in their starting lineup and both have appeared in the postseason before.

Forward Tobias Harris is averaging 19.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game this season, while guard Josh Richardson is averaging 13.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.

Former Tennessee player Admiral Schofield’s season is complete as the Washington Wizards missed the playoffs, going 1-8 after the league’s restart this summer. The Wizards finished ninth in the conference standings.
