Three throws with Scho: Interstellar

Mark Schofield breaks down some of the best quarterback play from Week 14.

Despite a busier than usual schedule last week, I managed to carve out some time and revisit one of my favorite movies, Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar.”

The film, set on a dystopian version of Earth crippled by dust storms and crop failures, relies heavily on the idea of bending time and gravity to save humanity. Aided by yet another tremendous score from Hans Zimmer, it is a movie I’ll return to from time to time.

Speaking of bending time and gravity…

Week 14 of the NFL season provided numerous examples of quarterbacks bending time and gravity to their will. Whether it was Patrick Mahomes defying physics to uncork a 53-yard throw away from his momentum, Matthew Stafford manipulating trajectories to hit on big plays downfield, or Justin Herbert launching throws that literally were off the charts, this was a huge week for quarterback play.

Let’s break it all down.
