After dropping 23 points on Georgia Tech, Tari Eason is now LSU’s leading scorer.

Eason has been a complete player. Scoring, rebounding, creating turnovers, and blocking shots. He’s done it all.

Eason averaged 7.3 points a game with Cincinnati last year. He’s more than doubled that this year, averaging 15.3 a night.

Eason, Kentucky’s Oscar Tshiebwe, and Florida’s Colin Caselton are the only three players in the conference to rank in the top 10 in points, rebounds, and blocks. Eason’s 1.9 win shares are second in the SEC, only behind Tshiebwe.

It was obvious from the first few games of the year that Eason would be a large part of this team, but he might be the best player. Going into conference play, he may begin to see more minutes as LSU relies on him more.
