Lon Kruger and his 2020-21 team had a chance to end a 27-year streak on Saturday inside Allen Fieldhouse. The Sooners, though, did everything could and came up just short in a 63-59 loss.

Oklahoma received a big performance from transfer Elijah Harkless, who was injected into the starting lineup with Brady Manek and Jalen Hill sidelined due to COVID-19 protocol. Austin Reaves provided a 20-point game as well and was huge for the Sooners.

Kansas is Kansas. Oklahoma hasn’t won on the road against the Jayhawks since 1993 and that drought will continue into 2022.
