With the way the Los Angeles Rams have constructed their roster, each offseason brings about some difficult decisions. Their aggressive approach has led to short-term stays for players such as Dante Fowler Jr., Ndamukong Suh and Sammy Watkins, with more departures on the way.
This year, the Rams could see as many as eight starters hit the market. They don’t have a lot of spending money, either, so retaining some of their top free agents will be tough to do.
ESPN recently ranked the top 50 free agents of 2021 and the Rams landed three players on the list. John Johnson, Leonard Floyd and Gerald Everett made the cut, all hitting the market before turning 30 years old.
The Rams would love to bring all of them back, but that will be nearly impossible to do. So they’ll have some tough calls to make in March this year.
