Three offensive key players for the Texas Longhorns on Saturday

For the Texas Longhorns to stay on track to challenge for a Big 12 Championship, they will need these three players to guide them Saturday.

Joshua Moore, Wide Receiver

To start the 2020 campaign, Joshua Moore shot out of the cannon. He hauled in 11 passes for 200 yards and four touchdowns in his first two games. It appeared as though the Longhorns found their replacement for Devin Duvernay of a season ago. Their top touchdown threat and receiving threat, but over the last four games he has slowed down. Can the Longhorns get ‘Moore’ out of Joshua this week?

Since the Texas Tech game, Moore has just 11 receptions in four games where he didn’t record a single reception against Texas Christian. He was dealing an injury. The last two games Moore has just three receptions for 60 yards but that does include two touchdowns. None bigger than his lone catch against Oklahoma State that gave Texas the 41-34 lead in their overtime victory.

The Mountaineers have given up just one game over 200 yards passing, that came in their overtime win over the Baylor Bears. Can Moore get the ball rolling against WVU’s stout passing defense? He will be needed.
