Three more Rams assistant coaches leave to join Raheem Morris’ Falcons

Raheem Morris and the Falcons hired three more Rams assistants, continuing to poach Sean McVay’s staff in LA

It was bad enough that the Los Angeles Rams lost defensive coordinator Raheem Morris this offseason when he was hired as the Atlanta Falcons’ next head coach, but to make matters worse, he’s bringing a bunch of coaches with him.

After already hiring Rams assistants Zac Robinson and Jimmy Lake as his offensive and defensive coordinators, Morris is now taking three more coaches from Los Angeles. The Falcons announced that K.J. Black, Nick Jones and Tim Berbenich are all leaving the Rams to join Morris’ staff in Atlanta.

  • Rams offensive assistant Nick Jones: Falcons assistant O-line coach
  • Rams offensive assistant K.J. Black: Falcons offensive assistant
  • Rams coaching analyst Tim Berbenich: Falcons pass game specialist/game management

The Rams have lost a litany of coaches again this offseason, from Morris to Robinson to Eric Henderson, and these three heading to the Falcons may not be the last, either.
