Three LSU women’s basketball players listed on Wooden Award midseason top 25

Angel Reese, Aneesah Morrow and Mikaylah Williams were all named to the list.

The John Wooden Award recently released its midseason top 25 watchlist and three lady Tigers find themselves on the list. [autotag]Angel Reese[/autotag], [autotag]Aneesah Morrow[/autotag] and [autotag]Mikaylah Williams[/autotag] were all named to the list.

Reese has had ups and downs on and off the court this season but at the moment she is the Tigers leading scorer. She averages 19.8 points per game, 11.5 rebounds per game, and 2.3 steals per game. She played a pivotal role in [autotag]Kim Mulkey[/autotag] and the Tigers winning the national championship last season and she is well on her way to doing that again.

Morrow is a transfer from DePaul who has come to Baton Rouge and set the world on fire. She is averaging 18.6 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game.

Williams is a true freshman who has stepped up hugely for coach Mulkey this season. She averages 16.9 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game. LSU is on a 16-game win streak after losing to Colorado during their first game of the season.
