The Colorado Buffaloes suffered a “pathetic” 60-58 loss to the Washington Huskies on Thursday night, as head coach Tad Boyle described it. Now sitting at 13-7 on the season and 5-5 against Pac-12 opponents, the Buffs are headed to Pullman to finish a three-game Pacific Northwest road swing against the Washington State Cougars.
The Cougs are 11-7 overall and 4-3 against Pac-12 teams so far this year, one of those being an 83-78 defeat at the hands of Colorado on Jan. 6.
The Buffs need a big bounce-back performance against Washington State if they want to prove that they are among the Pac-12’s elite this year.
