Three keys for the Buffs to beat Washington State

Our three keys to the game for Colorado to beat WSU

The hiatus appears to have finally come to a close (knock on wood) for the 9-3 Buffaloes. After nearly three weeks, multiple postponements and one cancelation, the Buffs welcome the 8-5 Washington State Cougars for their long-overdue Pac-12 regular season opener.

If CU’s rust hasn’t grown too thick, the Cougars are a beatable opponent. Washington State, which last played and lost to Boise State on Dec. 22, has also fallen to New Mexico State, South Dakota State, Eastern Washington and USC.

Another WSU defeat would be great, but simply watching the Buffs return to action (again, knock on wood) will also be nice.

Here’s what I believe the Buffs must focus on to get the win.
