NASHVILLE — The National Football League officially made its first postponement due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The league announced Thursday that it would postpone the game between Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee until later this season, due to a coronavirus outbreak in the Titans’ organization.
Several Tennessee players and team personnel have tested positive for the virus since the Titans played Minnesota last week.
A postponement of the game between two undefeated teams means that a trio of former Vols will not be in action Sunday.
Backup quarterback Joshua Dobbs, defensive back Cameron Sutton and punter Dustin Colquitt all play for the Steelers.
