Super Bowl LV is upon us. And it will feature several former Raiders in it. There are three former Raiders on each of the two teams. The Chiefs have three and so do the Bucs.
One player, in particular, will be looking for his third Super Bowl ring in his post-Raiders career. Former Raiders second-round pick Stefen Wisniewski.
The Raiders selected the nephew of Steve Wisniewski with the 48th overall pick in the 2011 draft. He was a full-time starter at guard and center for four seasons in Oakland before leaving to sign with the Jaguars. After one season in Jacksonville, he signed with the Eagles in 2016, moving to guard full time.
Wisniewski’s second season in Philly, the Eagles won the Super Bowl. Two seasons later, he was with the Chiefs and they won the Super Bowl. Wiz wasn’t just along for the ride, either. He started and played nearly every snap for every single playoff game in both Super Bowl runs.
Now he’s back in the Super Bowl, again with the Chiefs, looking for his third ring. It would also be his second ring with Tom Brady on the opposing team.
