We are about one week away from the Big 12 football media days in Las Vegas, and to get fans excited, the conference released its media preseason All-Big 12 football team on Tuesday.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders, cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter and defensive lineman B.J. Green II were the three Colorado Buffaloes players who made the team.
Sanders has routinely been rated as one of the top quarterbacks in the country, and while the Big 12 has talent at the position, the senior got the nod. Heading into his likely final college season, Sanders could go down as an all-time great for the Buffs.
Hunter was voted to the team as a defensive back but could have garnered votes as a wide receiver. The two-way star was also recognized as the preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
The hype surrounding Green is only growing ahead of his first season with the Buffs. Playing his first three college seasons with the Arizona State Sun Devils, Green has shown the ability to rush from multiple spots on the line while creating havoc in opposing offensive backfields.
In the Big 12 preseason media poll, Colorado was picked to finish 11th in the conference.
