Wisconsin is currently scheduled to play Minnesota on October 10 at Camp Randall Stadium.

Given Iowa’s impending struggle, Nebraska’s inability to make the jump into contention and both Wisconsin and Minnesota’s talent and experience at important positions, it is a sure bet that their matchup will decide who goes on to play Ohio State in the conference championship–likely for a birth in the College Football Playoff.

Maybe Minnesota won’t be as dominant early in the season as they were last year (against a cupcake schedule, I may add), but these two teams are head-and-shoulders above the rest of the division and are in for an absolute battle this season.
