The Florida Gators suffered their most crushing loss of the season on Saturday night, effectively ending their chances at a College Football Playoff appearance. However, there are still reasons to be interested in this team as they close out their schedule.
At this point in the season, now that the ultimate goal is all but out of reach, the primary draw for Gators fans is the performance of individual players. Particularly on the offensive side of the game, the team has a number of quality players who will likely soon be able to count themselves among the professional ranks.
Just how highly will Florida stars Kyle Pitts, Kyle Trask, and Kadarius Toney be drafted? It’s a topic that has been discussed to wildly varying outcomes, although the rough consensus is the trio will come off the board in that order. The much more hotly contested question is whether Trask deserves to be drafted in the first round.
A recent mock draft by Drae Harris of The Draft Network indicates that it’s still a possibility despite falling to Alabama‘s Mac Jones in recent Heisman Trophy conversations.
Here’s what Harris had to say.
