This image of Tom Brady and the Patriots’ Super Bowl banners is epic

This one is a beauty.

Sometimes, a sports photographer lines up their shot to perfection.

Getty Images’ Billie Weiss took a relatively mundane throw from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and turned it into a truly special image. The Patriots quarterback stood in the Patriots’ end zone after starting a drive on the 1-yard line. And Brady fired the ball to the sideline for a short gain to running back Sony Michel.

But as Brady threw, he was standing underneath New England’s six Super  Bowl banners, all of which were earned with Brady under center. It made for a stunning photo. Of course, Brady pays no mind to those banners. He’s acutely focused on getting another.

What followed?

Brady led the third longest drive (in plays) of Patriots’ franchise history. The Patriots offense chipped away at the Bills defense with a 17-play, 81-yard drive that lasted 8 minutes, 58 seconds. And, of course, Brady helped the Patriots wrap up a 24-17 win over the Bills, which gave the Patriots their TKth consecutive AFC East title.

This image made Brady’s first pass attempt of thee drive memorable.
