The NFL will allow teams to use throwback helmets this year, but Denver Broncos fans probably shouldn’t expect any huge uniform changes before 2023. Once the team has new ownership, however, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Broncos refresh their uniform (Denver is hoping to complete a sale of the team before the 2022 season).
In the meantime, fans and graphic designers have been left to dream up mockups of what a revamped Broncos uniform might look like.
Franco Tiscareño, who goes by @designedbyfranco on Instagram, recently made an “ultimate jersey” concept for Denver. Check it out:

He used inspiration from the team’s alternate Color Rush uniform and the Broncos’ past and present designs to give Denver a classic look with a modern spin.
One quibble from Broncos Wire would be to straighten the stripe on the pants. And if Denver eventually considers a complete overhaul, a revamped “D” logo would likely be welcomed by Broncos fans.
