On the Alabama Crimson Tide’s 2024 schedule, there is likely no question as to what the top nonconference matchup for the program is this season.
After home games against Western Kentucky and USF to begin the year, the Crimson Tide will travel to Madison on September 14 for a Week 3 matchup against the Wisconsin Badgers.
This matchup has also garnered national interest as well across the offseason, which includes being ranked as one of the top nonconference games during the 2024 season according to USA TODAY.
Alabama’s first matchup against Wisconsin since the 2015 season opener, the Crimson Tide won that contest on a neutral-site, 35-17, and have not traveled to Madison since 1928. These were also the lone two previous matchups in the head-to-head history between the SEC and Big Ten programs.
Certainly a tough place to play, this could end up being the first real test of the Kalen DeBoer era at Alabama. Will the Crimson Tide end up passing that test?
