Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen returned to action in Week 15 against the Chargers in Los Angeles.
Thielen hurt his hamstring initially in Week 7 against the Lions. He tried to come back in Week 9 against the Chiefs, but ended up making it worse.
In his return, Thielen was limited, but came out of the game healthy, which is the most-important thing with the playoff stretch coming for the Vikings.
Against the Chargers, Thielen finished with three catches for 27 yards.
The Vikings offense will surely need Thielen down the stretch, especially if Dalvin Cook is limited after hurting his shoulder.
Thielen and the Vikings will be on the field next against the Packers on Monday Night Football in Week 16. It’s a big game for both teams. The Packers are trying to hang onto a first-round bye, while the Vikings are hoping to clinch a playoff spot.
Thielen has three career 100-yard games against the Packers. In the team’s matchup against the Packers earlier this season, Thielen had five catches for 75 yards.
