These three teams a good fit for Tre Mann in the NBA draft

Here are three teams CBS thinks Mann is a good fit for, including both Finals teams.

Former Florida point guard Tre Mann isn’t considered an elite prospect in the draft, and a selection in the lottery, though possible, seems unlikely. But he’s also one of this class’ most versatile backcourt prospects. A former five-star recruit, Mann has a lot of talent and the potential to improve at the next level.

After a disappointing first season with the Gators in which he failed to find a consistent role with the team, he improved in almost every single way as a sophomore. He averaged just 5.3 points his first season on the team, but he boosted that to 16 in 2020-21, which led the team. His play during UF’s short postseason run helped solidify his projection as a first-round prospect.

Mann mostly found success at Florida running the point, but at 6-foot-5, he has combo guard potential and could be a good off-the-bench scorer in the NBA for a talented team looking for more depth. For that reason, CBS Sports’ Colin Ward-Henninger thinks Mann is a good fit with three playoff teams. Here’s a rundown of each one.
