These Bears players are set to hit free agency this week

The Bears have plenty of in-house free agents set to hit the free agent market officially on Wednesday.

The Chicago Bears have a long offseason ahead where some pretty important decisions await them. Quite a few of those will come in regards to the roster, where there are some decisions to make regarding in-house free agents and players currently under contract.

The Bears have already re-signed several of their in-house free agents, including kicker Cairo Santos, defensive end Mario Edwards and punter Pat O’Donnell, along with five exclusive rights free agents in offensive lineman Alex Bars, inside linebacker Josh Woods, outside linebacker James Vaughters, running back Ryan Nall, and tight end J.P. Holtz.

But Chicago still has 18 unrestricted free agents, two restricted free agents and one exclusive rights free agent ahead of the legal tampering period, which opens Monday at 11 a.m. CT.

Officially, those unrestricted free agents’ contracts will expire with the Bears, and they’ll be free to sign elsewhere, on Wednesday at 3 p.m. CT.

Here’s a look at those players.
