The Chicago Bears have wrapped their 2022 season, which means the focus shifts to what’s shaping up to be a very important offseason.
The salary cap could exceed a record high of $220 million in 2023, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. But that number will be agreed upon later this offseason.
Where things currently stand, the Bears are expected to have roughly $118 million in cap space, via OverTheCap, which is the most in the NFL (by a wide margin). It’ll give GM Ryan Poles plenty to work with as he builds this roster.
