The Zebras Report for Titans vs. Steelers in Week 9

Shaun Calderon takes a look at the officiating crew for Titans-Steelers in Week 9.

Following a thrilling 28-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, the Tennessee Titans have a quick turnaround to get ready for another formidable foe as they are set to face the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Thursday night.

The Titans are winless on the year whenever they play away from Nissan Stadium, so in order for them to get back to .500, they must find a way to change that in Week 9.

To do so, they’re going to have to play a clean game from a penalty standpoint.

Unfortunately for Tennessee, after having one of the more lenient officiating crews last Sunday, the team is now set to have a crew that has called the seventh-most penalties on the year, per NFLPenalties.com.

John Hussey and his crew are officially scheduled to be in charge of keeping Thursday’s game in order.

Listed below is each penalty that Hussey and his staff have called through the first eight weeks, how frequently they have been called, and which teams they’ve favored the most.

All other penalties not listed either haven’t been called or were negated by offsetting and/or penalties that were declined. Scroll down below to get a better idea of the tendencies of this particular officiating crew.
