UFC 251 brings a stacked card of fights to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi for the promotion’s inaugural “Fight Island” event, on Saturday, July 11, with an octagon legend set to take on a rising star in a battle for the vacant UFC bantamweight title.
Following Henry Cejudo’s retirement the UFC’s 135-pound title is now up for grabs, with former long-reigning WEC and UFC featherweight champion [autotag]Jose Aldo[/autotag] and former ACB bantamweight champion [autotag]Petr Yan[/autotag] set to face off for the vacant strap.
It’s a matchup that offers a fascinating clash of generations, as surging contender Yan attempts to capture his first UFC title against one of the most dominant former champions in UFC history.
