The UFC’s one-time-only U.S. city visits (so far)

Check out a list of cities in the United States the UFC has only visited once, including surprises like Memphis, Louisville and St. Louis.

(This story originally published Sept. 7, 2021.)

The UFC is on road this week in a city it has visited only one time before.

UFC on ESPN 58 is set for Saturday at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky. It is the UFC’s first visit to the city since 2011 – and just its second ever.

That means like St. Louis last month, Louisville will come off this list of the one-time-only UFC cities in the U.S. (We’ve also presented a separate look at the international cities the UFC has gone to just once.)

(Note: Some cities technically qualify for the list – like Albuquerque, N.M., which the UFC went to in 2014. But because the UFC went to Rio Rancho, N.M., a near suburb of Albuquerque, in 2020, we grouped the two together. So Rosemont, Ill., doesn’t make the cut because it’s a near suburb of Chicago, which the UFC has been to several times. Sure, that makes this list slightly arbitrary. But you’ll forgive us.)
