Damian Lillard has been his usual incredible self this season for the Portland Trail Blazers and had a few more special performances the past few weeks.
Lillard, however, found out Thursday afternoon that he wasn’t named a starter in this year’s NBA All-Star Game. He and Dallas’ Luka Doncic were reportedly tied in votes and then the fans’ vote pushed Doncic into the starting five.
Lillard has been a legit MVP candidate this year and should be a starter in this game. Doncic is a great player, too, don’t get me wrong. But I would have gone with Lillard.
