Russell Westbrook spent the first 11 years of his NBA career with the Oklahoma City Thunder. During that time he helped take the team to the Finals once, won an NBA MVP award and became beloved by everyone who called the Thunder their favorite team.
On Thursday night he made his first trip back to OKC as a member of the Houston Rockets and man did he receive an awesome ovation from everyone inside Chesapeake Energy Arena.
The team first played a really great video tribute to Westbrook, which he seemed to get emotional about and then the roof almost came off after he was introduced.
