The Aggie tennis program as a whole is seeing success late this season. The No. 21 Texas A&M Men’s Tennis team is currently on a four-game winning streak recently upsetting the No. 6 South Carolina Gamecocks. The No. 2 Texas A&M Women’s Tennis team is coming off their second SEC regular-season title in a row and is the favorite to take the SEC tournament title.
The Men’s team got a little revenge against the Gamecocks in their 4-2 victory in their Quarterfinals matchup after losing to them 1-4 a few weeks ago. The Women’s team went into the tournament with a bye which can sometimes hurt a team because they have not been able to get into a groove of playing on the new surface. However, it would not be an issue as they beat Vanderbilt to advance in the tournament.
