The Rockets run the risk of falling down 3-1 to the Lakers if they lose to them again on Thursday night after dropping two straight games in the series.
They’ve just seemed to stall offensively at the absolute worst possible times so far. That’s in large part due to Russell Westbrook’s presence on the floor. They just haven’t been able to figure out how to get him going.
That’s a weird thing to say, given that Westbrook was an All-Star this season and is a former MVP. One would think that he’d be a big positive for the Rockets here. But when he doesn’t have the ball, the Lakers aren’t guarding him at all.
The Rockets have to figure this thing out, but to do that they might have a tough decision on their hands with Westbrook. You can hear more on that in the video above.
