The Lakers are 17-3, marking the second time a LeBron James-led team has gotten off to that hot a start.

A seven-point loss to Detroit was then followed by another eight-game roll as they improved to 17-3, by far the best 20-game start in LeBron’s Cavaliers career. At one point in the first surge, James went for 41 points apiece in three of four games.
