The Rams found a really clever way to share the news of Sean McVay becoming a father

Welcome to the world, baby McVay!

Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay is now a dad, as his son Jordan John McVay was born on Wednesday.

As news broke of the young McVay’s birth, the Rams found a really clever way to share with fans that the head coach’s new son had been delivered.

They included baby McVay’s birth in a “LA Rams Transaction” notice on social media, which is an absolutely delightful way to notify fans of the positive development.

Now, some Rams fans might’ve thought this notification meant a trade happened or the team signed a free agent, but there’s still time for that ahead of next Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.

This is good Rams news of a different sort (and much more important in the grand scheme of things).

McVay has joked in the past about what life will look like as a new dad with how the diaper-changing process will go. Now, he’ll get to put his dad skills to the test as he welcomes his newborn son into the world.

Also, don’t worry, Rams fans. It’s still possible you’ll get a transaction notice in the days ahead that involved a new player joining your roster!
