The Raiders’ pregame huddle at the Chiefs’ midfield logo completely backfired

Oops.

Ah, the old “let’s mess with the home team’s logo at midfield to motivate our squad” move.

The Las Vegas Raiders appeared to try that before an AFC West showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs, a team they trail by two games in the division. Before the game began, Raiders players ran over to the logo in the middle of Arrowhead Stadium and held a huddle there.

But if the intention was to fire up their own team, it completely backfired. Because the Chiefs came out and scored 35 UNANSWERED POINTS to start the Week 14 matchup.

We’ll see after the game if the Chiefs were indeed motivated by that move:
