The quarterback situation in Carolina in murky. Cam Newton will be 31 when this season kicks off. He played two games in 2019. He would be an UFA after the 2020 season. Newton believes he is returning to the Panthers. However, there are rumors the Heisman winner out of Auburn could be trade bait. Could Newton replace Philip Rivers with the Chargers? The Panthers have Kyle Allen and Will Grier on the roster. Not sure if either is a long-term solution to the quarterback situation.
