Detroit Lions
Matthew Stafford was injured in 2019 and missed half the season. He will be entering his 12th season as quarterback of the Lions after being taken first overall in 2009 out of Georgia. Stafford just turned 32 and playing QB for Detroit has added years on to his body. Stafford has a potential out in 2021. Otherwise, he won’t be a UFA until 2023. The Lions have to start thinking about the future. David Blough, Kyler Sloter and Jeff Driskel don’t seem to fit the role as the future.
