Arkansas offensive coordinator Kendal Briles has taken a bulk of the animosity from the Razorbacks fan base the last few weeks.
The Hogs’ 40-21 loss against Mississippi State on Saturday, the spark became a flame.
Briles signed a contract extension in March to make him the team’s OC through 2024. It was largely lauded by the fan base at the time after Arkansas finished 27th in FBS in total offense.
But this year, even though the Razorbacks entered Saturday with the No. 31 offense, the script has flipped. Fans took to social media to torch the assistant coach before, during and after the game, neverminding that his starting quarterback was not going to play.
