The person whose phone Tyreek Hill used to film his TD flip says the NFL suspended his credentials

The 20-year-old claims he was suspended for the entire season after his phone was used for Tyreek Hill’s celebration.

Back in October, Tyreek Hill finished a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers by running over to someone near the end zone, grabbing a phone and filmed himself doing a backflip.

Hill was penalized for using a prop in his celebration… but apparently, so did the person whose phone he grabbed.

Kevin Fitzgibbons released a video on Tuesday in which he told the story of being hired by the NFL as a 20-year-old to work at Miami Dolphins games. He says he had worked before with Hill, Saquon Barkley and others, and that he worked with the Fins receiver again when Hill was dealt to Miami.

And it was his phone that Hill took to film the celebration, with Fitzgibbons claiming he had been “suspended for the remainder of the season and possibly for good,” that he shouldn’t have jumped up after the moment:

An NFL spokesperson confirmed to For The Win that the league did pull his game-day credentials for this season and that he wasn’t fined. He is allowed to work on other non-game-day sideline projects with the league.

As for Hill’s response to the video?

We’ll see if “KFitz” gets a full credential again next year.
