The New England Patriots have a handful of players who can return to the field from injury, with the players on the PUP and NFI lists finally being eligible to return. The biggest name had been cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who surely would have been a welcome sight for this defense, which allowed Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott to throw for 445 passing yards, the most ever by a quarterback against Bill Belichick, during the Patriots’ loss in Week 6.

Alas, the Patriots elected to trade Gilmore to the Carolina Panthers. He’ll be making his debut at practice with them this week. New England, meanwhile, had a few rookies and a few role players who might return to the roster. Here’s a look at those players.
