The New England Patriots were clearly thrilled for receiver Kristian Wilkerson after his first touchdown with the team. The young wideout, an undrafted free agent in 2020, managed two scores in his breakout game. But the team erupted on the sideline to celebrate his first.
Not only did Damien Harris seem to be calling it before it happened — as shown in the “Sights & Sounds” video below — but the entire sideline celebrated and the team’s receivers coach Mick Lombardi made sure to greet Wilkerson after he celebrated in the end zone.
“Details, man,” Lombardi told Wilkerson as he took a seat on the bench. “That’s why you work so hard.”
All about us.
