As the New England Patriots took on the Washington Football Team on Thursday night, points were hard to come by. However, New England did manage to get its first touchdown of the season courtesy of rookie running back Rhamondre Stephenson. The Oklahoma product finished off a brief drive that was started courtesy of a Joejuan Williams interception.
As the Patriots look to work through their depth at each position, Stephenson’s touchdown could be a key footnote in a crowded running back room. Inside the red zone, he was able to power his way into the end zone to extend the Patriots lead to 15-7.
