The Panthers’ behind-the-scenes video of their negotiations with a NFL player’s agent is so fascinating

What an interesting look into how negotiations really go.

The Carolina Panthers recently released a really entertaining, 34-minute behind-the-scenes video that gave fans an inside look at everything that went down during the three days of the 2021 NFL Draft.

More teams should provide content like that because it provides such an interesting look into what these teams are really doing during those huge events.

The Panthers also shared a bonus behind-the-scenes video and it’s so darn fascinating. In it, Samir Suleiman, the team’s Director of Player Negotiations & Salary Cap Manager, and GM Scott Fitterer are negotiating with an agent named Erik Burkhardt who is representing free-agent TE Dan Arnold. Their back-and-forth about what both sides need to get a deal done is really interesting and something we don’t normally get to witness.

Check this out:

How great was that? Burkhardt really went to bat for his guy, too, which was cool to hear. We could all use a Burkhardt in our lives, am I right?

More stuff like this, please, NFL teams.
