“You are what your record says you are.”
That famous line from Bill Parcells is thrown around any time someone questions the legitimacy of a team’s record. But it’s not really true, now is it? We’ve learned over the years how to spot a fraudulent team that is riding unsustainable luck to a flattering record. Using the same process, we can pick out those teams that have been held back by rotten luck.
So now that every NFL team has played at least half of its schedule, let’s take a look around the league and pick out the most overrated and underrated teams heading into the stretch run.
