This has been a rough season for NFL refs so far, which is something you already know if you’ve watched any games during any week of the 2019 season.
Just last week we broke down the 12 worst calls of the season, and then a few more happened over the weekend as well as on Monday night. I mean, did you see that call that took away Drew Brees’ record-breaking TD in the first half of the Saints-Colts game? Yeesh.
I have concerns that another bad call is going to have a huge impact on a playoff game this year. It just seems like all the poor calls in the regular season are building up to a very big one when it matters most, just like last year.
Here’s a 17-minute(!) highlight video of the worst calls from this season, including a number of calls I totally forgot of because there have been just so many brutal ones.
Here’s hoping I’m wrong about the refs screwing up a playoff game but man, those were some brutal calls.
